LARRY BALDWIN MEMORIAL - 1952-2007

I first met Larry when I signed up for the PADI Open Water Diver course at my local dive shop in Carrollton, Texas. Both, Larry and Sherry's knowledge and passion of scuba diving inspired me to continue my PADI training and complete my PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification as soon as possible. Where I got to know Larry on a personal level was on the multiple dive trips to Cozumel lead by Larry and Sherry. I continued my PADI training with Larry and Sherry achieving my Master Scuba Diver certification, then my PADI Dive Master and PADI Assistant Instructor certification. I went on to become a PADI Instructor and joined Larry and Sherry as an instructor. Our professional relationship continued to grow along with our personal relationship. Larry was not only a mentor to me, but a teach and most importantly a best friend.

Larry was not only unselfish in his giving to others, but a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather. I know I truly miss being able to spend time with him and enjoy his company. I was blessed to have had the opportunity to be able to call Larry a best friend. Larry is truly missed on a daily basis.

I went through the many photos I had of student training classes, lake weekends trips and dive trip trying to find a few pictures that bring back the many wonderful memories of Larry that I could share with everyone that knew Larry.
