Course Overview: After your three dives, you'll be
more experienced, feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more because you better
understand the underwater environment. The dives for the Adventure Diver certification can be done in
one day at the lake. All three dives may be counted toward the
Advanced Open Water Diver certification and as the
first dive of the corresponding
specialty.
Prerequisites:
To become an Adventure Diver, you must be at least 10 years old and certified as an Open Water
Diver or have an equivalent rating. "Equivalency" is defined as proof of an entry-level scuba
certification with a minimum of four open water training dives.
Course Activities: You will do a total of 3 dives
under the supervision of an instructor. You get to choose the 3 dives that you want to do. You will
read the appropriate chapter in the Adventures in Diving Manual (included in course price) and complete
the knowledge review located at the end of the chapter for each dive that you perform. You will get to
use your new knowledge on each dive you perform under the supervision of an instructor. This certification
includes three Adventure Dives from the following list (listed are dives we conduct and not all dives are
available at all dive sites):
Adventure Dives available to divers 10 years old and older:
Adventure Dives available to divers 12 years old and older:
